Local missions:
Our Outreach group works with many local ministries such as Blessing House, Welcome Nursing Home, and Love, Inc. to meet the needs of those in Lorain County. Outreach meets regularly to develop new missions.
Comforters:
A group of skillful ladies knit, crochet and sew prayer shawls, comforters and lap robes.
We provide comforters to newly baptized babies. Prayer shawls, comforters and lap robes are given to nursing home patients, the chronically ill or anyone in need of comfort. You may contact the church office to request a prayer shawl or comforter for anyone in need.
Extravagant Generosity:
Our church provides financial support to many people and organizations in time of need. We regularly support Smile Train, a program to help children born with cleft palates; Compassion International adopt a child program, United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) in its efforts to deal with natural disasters and other crisis around the world and many other organizations, both local and national.
